Antarr joins MC Sonae in the Cadernão project, an initiative launched in 2022 in a partnership between Continente and Oxford.

The aim of the Cadernão initiative is to collect used notebooks and send them for recycling, while at the same time supporting reforestation, as for every tonne of paper collected, 20 trees will be planted, which corresponds to the number of trees needed to produce one tonne of paper.

Due to the initial success, the project expanded in 2023 to 250 Continente and note! shops. With this expansion, 155 tonnes of paper were collected, contributing to the planting of 3100 trees, 2100 of which will be planted by Antarr.

The Cadernão initiative reflects a commitment to sustainability and the circular economy, raising awareness of the importance of recycling used notebooks. Antarr is perfectly aligned with this initiative, emphasizing the importance of recycling and raising consumer awareness of environmental practices that contribute to a more sustainable future.
